Continuing Care

Continuing Care is important to long-term success and prevents your risk of relapse. Successfully completing an addiction treatment program is a milestone and an achievement. But your journey of recovery does not end there.

Freedom’s Aftercare Program is an important aspect in one’s journey to recovery. People in recovery are most vulnerable to relapse during their first year following treatment. Relapse prevention is an integral part of Freedom’s approach. The emphasis on continuous recovery is the essence of Freedom’s 12-month Aftercare Program. It complements our primary and secondary treatment regimen. It consists of approximately one day per week in the first year of recovery.

Freedom’s extensive network of counselors, alumni and programming ensures the appropriate guidance, encouragement and support is always available. At Freedom From Addiction, we understand that many challenges lay ahead of you. That’s why we provide a continuing care program to ensure that you continue to receive the support and guidance you need to rebuild your life. Continuing care is the key for long-term sobriety.

Our research shows the majority of Freedom From Addictions clients who attended the Continuing Care program with at least one other regular support, achieved high recovery at six months follow-up. Freedom’s Continuing Care program provides you with vital support and skills to handle high-risk situations and reduce your risk of relapse.
